October 2: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Oct. 24,2,31– Masquers’ Theater presents “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum”.

Shows on Fridays & Saturdays start at 8pm.

October 5:  B-K Broncos Homecoming

Parade will start at the High School at 2:00 PM and travel down 3rd St.  After turning south on 4th Ave. it will continue to Main Street and conclude at the City Park. A pep rally and skits will be held.

October 10: Haunted House

Haunted House at the Grant County Fairgrounds. Closed Sundays & Mondays, 7-8pm kids hours, 8pm to 10pm adult hour. Open till 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. Cost is $5 Adults and $4 Children

October 23: 2008 Central Washington Business Conference

2008 Central Washington Business Conference at the ATEC Building, Big Bend Community College. Choose from twelve 75 minute seminars for owners, managers and employees covering a variety of topics.

October 23: Central Basin Community Concert

The Central Basin Community Concert Association presents “The Annie Moses Band” starting at 7:30pm at the Wallenstien Theater, Big Bend Community College. A yearly subscription can be purchased for $50 per adult or other group packages apply. 

October 24: 2008 Speak Up Forum

2008 Speak Up Forum at The Moses Lake Assembly of God, 431 E Brown in Moses Lake. Starting at 6pm with the topic of the evening being “Children with Special Needs” as related to education and healthcare. 

October 25: You Can Make A Difference Day

“You Can Make a Difference Day” Aluminum Can Drive at McCosh Park form 9am to 1pm. Just deliver your aluminum cans and they will benefit the Columbia Basin Cancer Foundation.

October 30: MAC Pumpkin Bash

MAC Pumpkin Bash Contest Deadline. Entries in pumpkin decorating contest due. Deliveries accepted during regular business hours from 11am to 5pm . Pumpkins will be on display till Friday, October 31st, winners will be announced at 5pm.
